Mere itne drafts pade hai alag alag stories ke ki unme work karne ka samay hi nahi hai. Kabhi kabhi lagta hai bachpan se writing me ghusna tha.

If usme agar adult contain nahi hoga toh yaha shayad woh apne true potential nahi hasil kar payegi .
Yaha adult contain ko jyada response milta hai .

Novels me bhi adult content hota hai man. But iss tarah se nahi ki direct hi likh diya ki lund choot me ghus gaya ye woh

Unme bhi bahut spicy content aata hai. Smut rehta hai bahut. Lekin, wo log likhte thoda alag dhang se hai. Aur, zyadatar aisi adult novels utni famous nahi jaati worldwide kyunki ye har kisi ka taste nahi hoti. Ladkiyaan zaroor padti hai baahar aise content ko kyunki zyadatar female authors hi active rehti hai spicy content likhne me.

Domineering alpha male se masoom si innocent si ladki chudva rahi hoti hai aur waha ki female audience ye padh ke they go omg it's sooo hot!!! But unki reach bhi limited hi rehti hai compared to the big novels out there jaise ki LoTR, TSOIAF, Discworld, Hobbit, Harry Potter, The dark tower, Stormlight archive, etc. ye sab bade naam hai. Aur, inme iss tarah ka smut content nahi hota. Adult scenes hote hai lekin, aise nahi jaise yaha apne yaha likhe jaate hai. Mainly, plot se kahani bikti hai.

If there had been a fantasy market in India you would have already been a big hit cutting the erotica part in your story.

There are a lot of pros who do it for money but if they were getting even half the interactions as you...they wouldn't mind doing it for free.
And if I you want to earn from your writing...you have to commit to it fully and would be prepared to even leave you job if it comes to that. Rest you never know if it may work out.

Yes. India me fiction ka utna craze nahi hai. But... Baahar bahut craze hai. Aaj bhi fiction novels bahut bikti hai. Log padhte hai. India ke log bhi buy karte hai, padhte hai. Dikkat hai Indian authors ki jo koi trong fictional world provide nahi kara paa rahe.

Mahabharata wagarah se inspire hona achhi baat hai but aap wahj refrences har baar nahi ghused sakte. Ek proper world chaahiye, ek proper plotline chaahiye. Tab jaake Indian fiction kuchh kamaal kar sakti hai.

Mujhe pata hai indian authors kya gadbadi karte hai. Wo fully Indian culture me ghus ke puraane asuras aur rakshas ka refrence leke aate hai, uspe stories banaate hai. (Like bhramastra and all) but ye sirf indian audience tak hi reach kar sakta hai.

Kitne foreign ke book reviewers honge jo bhramastra ki original book ko padh ke uski waah waahi kar rahe honge YT pe?

That's the problem. Story aisi honi chahiye jo globally tehelka macha de. Farq nahi padna chahiye ki kaun se religion ke log use padh rahe hai, unhe samajh aayega ya nahi. World building aur plot aisa hona chahiye jo hila ke rakh de.

Jo mostly Indian authors karne me fail ho jaate hai. They fail at both. World building me bhi aur storyline me bhi.

Na hi wo himmat kar paate hai long projects pe ab. They need to understand ki jitna aap history me jaa ke references ka use kar ke jitna rakshas and asuras ye sab laoge, jitna ye dikhaane ki koshish karoge ki ye Indian work hai utna hi ye fail hoga.

Solution ye hai ki you have to blend it within the world building. Kuchh mat batao ki kahani me Indian refrences hai ya characters ke naam Indian waale hai. Kuchh mat batao.

Global scale rakho. Alag alag religions ka istemal karo aur blend karo. Tab beech me kahi Indian refrences ko ghusedo plot me taaki aisa na lage ki wo work heavily Indian inspired hai. Only that way it can work. (Of course, world building aur main plot pe hi sab kuchh nirbhar karega afterwards.)

Instead, I agree to most of the points you said...but you are talking about Fantasy here ryt? Name one Indian original fantasy show? There's not even one...most of the time there are those Aladdin, Mahabharat and all...I might even think that indians are very much afraid to go beyond our comfort zone...hindi not being a global language is much of a issue...hell it is not even accepted completely even in all of country (only North majorly). On the other hand Chinese, English, Spanish have a much larger crowd base. We are most populous that's the only plus point and hook that can save Hindi lit. But you can find lakhs of unemployed engineers here but wouldn't find good authors in double digits here's that's the harsh reality.

I have tried it girl. The light novel shit...! I have tried it. I got 2 offers from different websites (very popular) when I was writing one of my stories (paranormal based) on one of the platforms. They contacted me. Gave me a contract. I signed it. (You need to give all the details there. Including your bank account details, signature and all, all electronic format) There was no need to worry because they are pretty famous sites and everything was legally done. No shady business. So, I signed it. But there's a catch...

You need to give chapters in an assigned time. No matter what, you have to give the chapters. No excuses. That's why they don't give contract to anyone so easily. There's a criteria for that... Good reviews, good ratings, atleast some chapters, etc.

My guide Ava (she was my guide or like a mediator between me and the light novel company) so, she asked me about locking the chapters. I gave around 15 chapters for that story and then chose to lock the rest of the chapters. But then... I wasn't able to give so much time to it. It was very hectic. It was like a full scale job (which I couldn't do it.) So, I just left it. It's still there. But nothing has happened so far...! She didn't contact me after that. or maybe she contacted but I just lost that mail ID (switched phones so...)

So, those 15 chapters are still there...!

It's difficult. But many are earning from those websites. They are committed.

I'm not complaining that I need more likes. I'm pretty much satisfied now. I have already crossed the threshold so, nothing excites me now that much. But it's still a fact that the number of people who read the story are too much but reviewing the update or for liking it... Only a handful of people do that. That's what I meant.

Maybe... I'll decide that in the future. XF doesn't promote any kind of other platform or any kind of self promotion. It's strictly against the rules. Also, you cannot promote it even on the xf discord server. Because, it still counts as promoting your stuff on xf.

And, I won't do that. Not by exploiting the forum at least. I'll just publish it by a penname and that's it. If people can find it, they'll find it. But they won't know who's the real author is...! The truth will remain hidden.

That's what I meant exactly...you can either keep writing as a hobby or a job. I have seen many who do extremely well when it is a hobby and not paid and have a complete fallout when they make this a source of income...even I can complete any kind of deadline on time for any job but writing is like an open end...I might even plan the whole story today and it's not a guarantee that I might get a better idea tomorrow when actually that's how unpredictable it is. Even when you actually plot out everything there be still new ideas everytime you actually write anything. That's the part of the fun too!
