The sun had begun to set, casting long, dancing shadows across the cobblestone streets of the village. The air was filled with the soft hum of evening insects and the faint, comforting aroma of woodsmoke from the nearby hearths. Above, the sky was a tapestry of deep blues and purples, the first stars of the night beginning to twinkle into view.
Suchi's mother, her steps heavy with the weight of Chintu in her arms, made her way to the old village house.
Naina's mother-in-law was sitting on porch. She welcomed Suchi's Mom and enquired about Chintu as she was seeing him for the first time
"Welcome Suchi ki Mummy. And who is he little NANGU?"
Suchi's Mom gave a warm smile as she looked down at Chintu, his tiny, naked body nestled against her chest. "This is Chintu, Suchi's nephew. Suchi has adopted him. I thought it would be nice for him to meet some of the other ladies in the village."
Naina's mother-in-law's eyes widened in surprise as she took in the sight of the tiny, naked boy in Suchi's mother's arms. She looked at him with a mix of curiosity and awe. "He's so tiny and cute.
Suchi is lucky to have him," Naina's mother-in-law said, her voice soft with affection. "You must be exhausted, carrying him around all day."
"Not at all, dear. He's light as a feather," Suchi's mother replied with a warm smile. "But if you don't mind, I'd like to get him cleaned up and put to bed."
"Of course, please come in," Naina's mother-in-law gestured.
Suchi's mother followed her into the house, the cool air of the interior a relief after the heat of the day.
Naina's Mother-in-law called Naina, "Naina Beti, Come down. See who has come?"
Naina said, "I am feeding GOLU(Her 1 year old son) here Maa. He is not sleeping"
Naina's Mother said, "Ok, we are coming up"
Naina's Mother-in-law, Suchi's Mom and Chintu, all went to upstairs to meet Naina
Naina was breastfeeding GOLU there. She was happy seeing Suchi's Mom.
She said to Suchi's Mom, "Maasi, I am seeing you after a long time. How are you Maasi? How is Suchi Didi and Nandita Didi?"
Meanwhile, Chintu looking at the humongous breast of Naina, was licking saliva. He wanted to grab those, pull those, and suck hard those tits.
While all these storm was there in his mind, he was totally calm and innocent outside.
Suchi's mother smiled warmly at Naina. "I'm doing well, beta. And Suchi and Nandita are both well too. Nandita is 5 months pregnant now. And You know beta how Suchi's situation was. She lost her husband and then had miscarriage in 5 months"
Naina's eyes filled with sympathy. "Oh, Maasi, I'm so sorry to hear that. I knew she was going through something, but I didn't realize it was so bad."
Suchi's mother nodded grimly. "It's been a tough time for her. But God gave her child's love by sending Chintu to her life."
And then Suchi's mom explained how Chintu, a 3 year old, came to Suchi's life, and how Suchi Breastfeeds him, and takes care of him. He is now Suchi's son.
As Suchi's mother elaborated on Chintu's story, Naina's eyes widened with a mix of curiosity and disbelief. She flicked her gaze down to the tiny, naked figure in Suchi's mother's arms, his dark eyes blinking sleepily up at her.
Chintu's face seemed familiar to Naina. Suddenly Naina remembered. Chintu was her classmate in school, and she understood that Chintu is just acting as a 3 year old. Actually Chintu is of her age only.
Naina asked, "Maasi, what is the original village of Chintu?"
Suchi's mom replied, "Beta Suchi was telling me he is from Mangaluru village"
Naina became sure that he is her classmate Chintu. But she decided not to reveal that secret in front of anyone. She decided even not to tell Chintu that she has recognized him.
She decided to take advantage of the situation.
