Totally agree with you brother, I had this story bookmarked, however the writer has to understand that not everyone would create an account for this portal as many of them would be browsing it in incognito mode. So they can not comment or send "likes" to the updates. And moreover they don't want to publish their mail id/contact details to this forum because it holds the reputation of being an erotic site.
The other day I mentioned this story and writer as being one of my favourites in my other favourite stories comments.

Many of the readers extended their sympathies and support, and patiently waited for an update when the writer said there was a tragedy in his family. Later I use to get en error while trying to open this bookmark, and I thought the thread was deleted or moved. Still I kept trying everyday, and when finally it got restored, I felt happy. But unlike me, the writen may have lost many if his readers due this unfortunate event. They may come back happy once find it to be resumed. It may take time, but it will happen definately.
But after reading this comment from writer, I felt really odd. I would pay a novels price to read the entire thing at one go if that's what would convince him about the response (atleast from my end). I don't know how he measures the "Response" being "घटिया", but I've seen so many comments after his each update.
I understand the writers may have some expectations, and may feel dejected if they don't see them realize, however as a reader I also feel cheated when a writer suddenly stops posting updates. It happened with another story in the past "Koi toh rok lo" which I loved and am still eager to read to conclusion. If you are so concern about materialistic response , then you should publish your book, and see how it treads, why use open forum like this and expect every reader to put comments on your every update.
I may not have commented anything because maybe I did not think any lapse in storytelling or writing style or language quality. Even though everything is good about the story, Just leaving a "Nice/super/good update" does not feel justifiable to me, and I don't have enough words to portray how I feel about the story/writing. That doesn't mean I don't appreciate the good work writer has done till now. I don't read what others comment on the updates as well, because I'm more interested in story itself, not in what other think about it.
With that being said, it's really writers choice to continue the thread or end it. I wish him good luck for the future, and have high hopes that he would become a known writer in future
