Kami has created everything known to mankind and more for millions of years and he's grown tired of constantly keeping check on it all. The only thing that had kept him excited all this time is RPGs. At some point he decides it's time to take part in his own creation of an RPG based universe he had created. He abandons heaven to become a full fledged adventurer but with all the powers of the almighty God he is. Will he become the hero humanity needs in this world?

Update 1

"If you could just take a look at this here Almighty Creator, over fifteen thousand planets that have recently collapsed on the edge of universe twenty-three and it would seem it wasn't by natural cause." spoke a tall woman.

She had long blond hair that was tight up into a bun and green eyes. Her figure was amazing almost like a walking goddess. She was dressed like an office assistant in a white variant of clothing. Even more so there were a pair of large white wings attached to her that she constantly swung around as if trying to move things along faster.

"I know I know. Universe twenty-three. Omniscient remember? It's Lucy throwing a tantrum again. Did I ever tell you that on THIS level specifically there's a rare sword drop when you kill respawnable slimes five thousand times? I mean that's insane who would spend hours killing slimes that many times? Me that's who." replied another voice.

This man was young looking and had red-brownish hair. His eyes gleamed light aqua blue. He was incredibly handsome even more so than your average Casanova and had simple plain clothing on. A white shirt and some white pants with white sneakers, casual enough apart from the color scheme. He sat in front of a small TV playing what appeared like a retro RPG game. The room was just white and nothing else was there besides the TV, and the two of them. His entire focus was on it as the woman spoke up once again.

"God, almighty across the heav-"

"Please stop with the praising already. Do you see this?! I totally dodge that slime this game is rigged!" he moaned out loud as he passionately continued to play his game.

"Kami, please there's a large amount of work that require your attention and we must get this done by the end of today. Handling all these universes you created is only something you can do" she replied

Kami simply raised his fingers at her and snapped them. He replied in a satisfied tone.

"There, I've rebuilt the planets back in their place. I swear those little rebel demon brats running around making a mess then I have to step in and clean it. You wanna live by yourself fine but stop breaking my stuff. I'll have a talk with him sooner or later."

"Great Benevolent Creator, oh might the Cosmos and all who live in it forever praise you, may your-"

Kami sighed and continued playing his game. The praising would take a while so he had a few minutes of free time before the next inevitable task would show itself. As his character swung his sword at the slimes he began to contemplate his everlasting life.

Ever since he could remember he had always had to be there to step in and fix something from the universe. From the first universe he had created and left to the other hundreds he had made after that. Maybe it was his fault but he couldn't help himself. If he suddenly had what he thought was a neat concept he would immediately start to work on making an entire universe around it until he lost interest and moved on to the next one. Out of everything he had created, universes where human created RPGs always caught his attention. Something about living your life as an everyday commoner who then becomes an adventure and lastly a hero was thrilling to him. The fantasy of it all the heroics and mostly the world around it. He had created a universe based around RPGs like these countless times and he always allowed them to run themselves. He never thought of putting his influence over those universes he created.

He gave a low moan as he heard the angel next to her continue to praise him. Even so he couldn't help but grow bored. He loved all he created but after watching it millions and millions of years' worth of time in action it grew a bit stale to him.

"Kami, did you hear what I said?"

"Yeah something about the humans from the first universe expecting the apocalypse soon or something. I tell you out of all the humans I created those are the most fanatic. Constantly praying for me to save them and stuff, I go take
a look and everything seems to be running fine on its own. Sure, they have a bit of war here and there but mostly it's just peaceful. They want free will but soon as the get a boo-boo they come crying to me" he commented putting the control down and standing up.

"M-me, God of all Creation, I don't even know where to begin! I don't even have the power to do such a thing! Wait what do you mean f-fired?! Wait please why are you doing this!?"

Without a further warning he snapped his fingers and founds himself falling through the blue sky. Below him was nothing but a grand landscape of mountains and bodies of water. He laughed at the idea of what he would do when he landed in this grand world he had created. It had been sometime since he felt so thrilled that he didn't notice that he was fast approaching the ground. Kami soon landed on the ground as a loud crashing noise echoed through out the area. Dust spread across the impact area and soon settled. Where he laid a huge crater had been formed.

Even so he stared up at the sky smiling as if he had accomplished an amazing feat.

"Fresh new start" he sat up and looked at his clothing. His white clothing were now covered with dirt and dust some of it was even torn. He stood up and almost instantaneously his clothing looked like new as if nothing had happened.

By the looks of it he had landed right in the middle of a road that would probably lead to a town. He decided to limit his Omniscient ability from this moment forth as knowing everything that would happen or where it was would ruin it for him. He wanted the full feel of an adventurer and exploring unknown territory was part of it.

"If I remember correctly-" he thought about his stats for a second and a status bar showed itself in front of his eyes.

[Status Bar]
Name: Kami

LVL: 1

EXP:0/50
Title: God of All/Runaway God

Class: N/A

HP: ∞

Stamina: ∞

Mana: ∞

Strength: ∞

Endurance: ∞

Intelligence: ∞

Dexterity: ∞

Charisma: 3

Wisdom: ∞

(Further stats may be unlocked through progression and class changes)( For list of passives open the Passive Menu)
He read through his stats a few times summarizing that this would probably not be as hard as he had thought it would be. He then opened his Passive Menu and took a close look.

[Passives]
Omnipotent: Lvl. Max
Omnipresent: Lvl. Max
Omniscient: Lvl. Max

Immortal: Lvl Max

Untouchable: Lvl Max
(Further Passives may be unlocked through progression and class changes)(For list of Skills open the Status Menu)

Kami noticed that he was able to toggle his passives on and off as needed and decided to toggle omnipresent and omniscient off. He would keep Omnipotent on but if he got too bored from just killing everything off easily, as he clearly knew he would be able to, he would also toggle it off. The other two seemed fair to keep on, if he somehow died despite having what seemed like infinite HP, all of creation would go down with him. Not the best scenario for all of existence. Further more he noticed that the passives had a level to them as well, not that it mattered since his was clearly maxed out. He now opened his Skill Menu to see if what he had.

"Hmm...in a typical RPG standard I'm pretty sure these are either Overpowered or cheated in stats and passives...what's with the title, Runaway God? Not hero or something like that? Either case I should probably restrain myself. I do want to appear strong but too much and people will freak out, right? What's with the Charisma?! Am I not a charming God is that what it's saying? I have endless followers across many universes and even more so, whats with the skills? That seriously makes me look like I cheated somehow" he shrugged closing his Skill Menu and looking around the area.

From what he could see there was no signs of life around but the atmosphere was tranquil and comforting. Kami took in a few deep breaths before reinforcing his convictions. Now that he was in this world he would enjoy it as though it was a new game he was opening. The feel and excitement of it was incomparable.

"Alright! The grand adventure begins!"

With this he jumped out of the crater and began walking down the road, excited to start his new life as an adventurer.

Update 2

It had been sometime since Kami had been walking down the road with no signs of any life forms. His enthusiasm was still high but he was beginning to get tempted into toggling his Omniscient passive on. At least, long enough for him to find the nearest town or city.

"I'm so used to just knowing everything this feels a bit strange. Walking around clueless is its own fun I suppose" he shrugged off the idea and simply continued to admire the landscape.

There were still so many mountains to his sides and nothing but green pasture and trees as far as he could see. The mountains in the distance were covered in snow and the sky was especially bright today. The view filled him with a sense of optimism as he continued to walk confidently.

"Maybe I should explore the areas around the trees. Don't think there will be monsters and stuff walking down the road like I am so, it wouldn't hurt to try."

He came to a halt and stared of into the trees. Being part of an adventure was traveling the unknown and fighting of monsters, this was perhaps the best course of action he could take to fulfill his adventurer needs. Without hesitation he began walking into the field of trees. It didn't take him more than five minutes before he found a small group of goblins. They were small and green and were huddled around a circle swinging what looked like clubs. They had small straps of leather attached to the as armor and appeared to be celebrating something.

"Ugu-Ugu-Ugu" chanted the group of goblins

Kami took a look at the center of the circle and saw a small little girl. She had light brown hair and brown eyes. She had a look of terror in her eyes as the goblins continued to swings their clubs around. He had no idea what a small little girl was doing out here in the middle of basically nowhere and had he not accounted for the fact that he randomly decided to come here she would most likely die.

"Alright, time to be the hero!" he exclaimed

With that he ran up to the goblins who had yet to notice him. The goblins barely had the time to turn around and see him running at them but by that time it was too late. His fist connected with the closest goblin and it instantly was thrown back against two others and all three of them exploded. A splurge of guts and blood got splatted all over the remaining goblins and the little girl.

The girl let out a scream as the other goblins stared for a second before running off in fear

"Agagaga!" yelled out the goblins as they ran into the trees before disappearing.

Kami stood there motionless as the little girl continued to cry in the background

"Waaaaaah an even bigger monster has come to kill me!" she cried out.

Wait me a monster?! I just saved your life?! Story of my immortal life, I save you guys and I'm still the bad guy.

Kami let out a long sighed before raising his hands calmly at the girl and speaking.

"N-no little girl I'm here to save you. I'm sorry if I scared you I didn't think I would hit it so hard."

The girl seemed to settle a bit but she still continued to softly let out tears as she wiped on her face.

"Here let me help you." he raised his hand and a soft cloth appeared.

He walked up slowly towards her and started gently rubbing her face removing both her tears and any remains from the goblin.

Is it ok for me to just, break the worlds rules like that? There should be magic to conjure stuff, right? Damn let's consider this an exception. Maybe I should turn off Omnipotent. That was just way too much and I was significantly holding back

As he thought this he opened up his passive menu and toggled Omnipotent off. He then opened his status bar to see the difference now that he wasn't infinitely powerful.

Are these normal stats for a level one? I can't tell. Wait did my Charisma go down a point from that?!

As he thought this he looked at the girl and brought up her stats.

I just brought up her stats just like that. I can still use all my powers as I want even with Omnipotent off? Does that mean it only works on stats but I can practically do as I want anyway? Who knew the cheat in this world would be being God, shesh.

Pushing this dilemma for later thought he took a close look at the info.

Yeah, my stats are not normal in this world, bummer. Well I suppose this is as weak as I can get without "cheating" further so we'll leave it as that for now. I should learn more about these stats, ah if only I could just toggle Omniscient on, does it even matter? I can use it as I want, right? Agh!

As he continued to debate the merits of his abilities the little girl stared back at him. Kami eventually realized she had been sitting on the ground quiet for a few minutes now and looked back at her.

"I'm Himari.Mister you're really handsome. Mommy says only really handsome are powerful, are you powerful?" she asked innocently

"Umm, no, yes-well no actually, hard to explain, how are you feeling?" he replied changing the subject.

Kami had purposely allowed these RPG universes he created to live without his influence. He wouldn't be surprised if no one in all of this universe knew who he was. Sure, he could present himself as God of All Creation but that's now why he was here after all, not like saying it would make it any better.

"Feeling better, mister can you help me back home? Those goblins attacked our town and mommy told me to run. I don't know where home is anymore" she said sadly as she looked at the ground.

Kami smiled at her and patted her head. In his natural instinct these were his creations and he could not help feel bad for them. He gently lifted her up and dusted her clothing making all the remains of the goblins disappear. Cheat or not, it would just not be right letting her walk around with goblin blood and remains on her.

"Sure, your town must be close by, right? I don't think you got here from afar. Come on" Kami extended his hand at her.

Himari shyly grabbed his hand as they began walking.

Kami made his way back to the road as he noticed the sun was coming down. It would soon be sunset and he would much rather find this town before night came. With that in mind he tucked at her small hand gently and began walking down the road once more. He couldn't help and feel like something would be wrong when he got there though.

A town that was attacked by goblins, a mother who told her small daughter to run off out of town. It seemed to him like they were overrun by goblins and the goblins were winning.

Does this mean by the time we get there, the town will have goblins everywhere. Ah is that the right thing to do, this poor little girl doesn't need to see that. Ah well, it's what the hero would do anyway.

With that settled he smiled at Himari before starring of into the distance once more.

Update 3

"Just call me Kami. No need to keep calling me mister" Kami said without taking his attention away from the road.

"Kami, that's a weird name. Are you from a faraway land?" she replied curiously looking up at him

"Something like that, look I think we're almost there" he pointed his finger at the distance.

Near the horizon there was a couple of small houses you could see. It didn't look like anyone was outside but considering that this was probably the town that was just attacked by the goblins. If there were any survivors they wouldn't be walking around at this point. Kami had thought it would be a town of sorts but seeing how small it was and how it looked like it had small farms to the side it would appear to be more of a village.

"What's this place called Himari?" he asked her as they approached the village.

"Itsu Village. Mommy and Daddy always said we live far away from other people. Sometimes they go by horses and visit the city to get stuff when we need it." she told Kami.

As they got closer he noticed a lot of the place was a mess. Many of the houses had doors torn down and windows broken. There were broken objects all over the road as though someone had rummage through everything. Funny enough, there were no bodies that he expected to find laying around the roads or blood or anything of that sort. He was ok with it but he was preparing himself for that scenario.

"You remember which house is yours right?"

Himari nodded her head and gently pulled on his hand. She began leading him towards her house through the empty houses. He looked around hoping to see any signs of life but as far as he could tell, this village had been abandoned. They suddenly came to a stop and pointed to a small house in front of them. He smiled at her and pulled her hand back.

"Stay behind me, we're going to check out what's inside." Kami ordered her as Himari looked up at him and nodded her head.

Alright let's see here.

His eyes began to glow and the walls became invisible. He was able to see through the walls as he scanned the entire rooms. It seemed empty, just everything tossed around the home. He felt a sudden trickle on his body like something had just exited it but he didn't pay much attention. Kami walked up to the house with Himari following behind him closely.

"I don't think there's anything in there. I just looked around but just in case, you sure this is your home, right?" he asked her once more.

"Yes, Mister Kami" she nodded her head at him.

He walked past the door and gave the room around him a quick look. Just like he had seen, the house was indeed empty. It would be one thing to find her parents well and alive, even finding them dead on the floor would be understandable, but the fact that there was no one here and no one as he could tell in this village was suspicious.

"You said the village was attacked by goblins, did you see if they were trying to hurt anyone?"

She stuck the tip of her tongue out and furrowed her eyebrows. It looked like she was trying to remember what happened exactly. Kami gave a small chuckle, he thought she looked a bit adorable with that expression.

"No, I think they were just grabbing people and taking them away. Mommy just told me to run I don't know what was happening." she replied.

Her eyes looked sadly up at him. He felt that she wasn't expecting her parents to be alive at this point. It was a bit sad seeing it this way. As God of All Creation he had always seen many humans lose someone they love or care for but he had never truly experienced it this close to one of them. It was always as a far observer. Even so he always felt for them, it was the way of life. Many of them didn't know the lavishes they were to expect when they got to heaven but even so the loss of someone is great.

Well worse come to worse I COULD always Resurrect her parents, right? Would that be overkill, guy walks into this world can bring people back from the dead just like that? Or is that common in this universe, bah can't really know, let's give it a shot anyhow.

He concentrated on resurrecting her parents for a few seconds but nothing happened. He looked around puzzled as to why it wasn't working.

Huh...well that's the first time that doesn't work. Does it mean her parents are not dead? That's always a possibility. Wait why do I see a small blinking...light by the side of my eye. Is... is that a message? That how they see things here I guess.

He pulled up the message on the side of his eye. The message read.

[Cannot cast Resurrect]

Cannot cast Resurrect?! What does that mean? Maybe the Status Menu will let me know what's going on here.

When did I learn these?!

He stood still for a second before realizing what was happening.

Yes of course! When I had Omnipotent on I was probably able to use this stuff as I wanted with basically no cost. Since I turned it off now I have a range of stats and skills that will now cost mana and stuff. When I do use my abilities the Skill Menu gets updated and turns what I do into a skill with a set cost. Shame then, if I want to make this a bit fairer I won't be able to resurrect her parents if they are dead with my low mana points. Think I'm beginning to see how everything works for me in this world.

"Himari, I think we should sleep here for the night, if your parents are not here we should try finding them in the morning when you and I get some rest, don't you think?" Kami smiled at her

She looked down on the ground with a sad expression. Himari was still worried about where her parents could be and spending all night without them seemed to make her feel down.

"Can we just look for them now Mister Kami?" she asked

Ah, I've seen these enough times to see where this is going. If I say no she'll probably get upset and run off or sneak off on me when I'm trying to sleep or something. Brave little girl, not a smart one, but brave.

"Hmmm"

He lifted his fingers and snapped them at her. Himari immediately fell asleep. Kami managed to grab her before she fell to the floor and gently picked her up.

"Sorry kid I think I know what's best." he spoke as he walked over to the bed in one of the rooms and placed her on top.

Kami stared at the girl for a while before heading out the door. He stood in front of the house as the sun began to settle near the horizon. Wondering what he should do next he stared up at the growing dark sky before yawning.

Ah feeling tired? Am I? Ha! That doesn't normally happen. When was the last time that happened? Maybe I'm not so tired, maybe I'm just enjoying all this a little too much. Ah that's not right to say in this situation.

His mind wandered off into deep thought before letting out a sigh.

Fine. I'll make it like a surprise. I'll find her parents if they are alive and bring them back to her before she wakes up. That feels like an appropriate thing to do in an RPG-style story game.

He glanced at the house and suddenly a giant glass like ball appeared in front of it. Furthermore, the house began fading until it was completely invisible. Kami smiled at his handy work before his eyes began glowing. Through his eyes he could see all signs of life around an area. Anything that would be considered enemy should be glowing red while any signs of the villagers would be friendly, so blue. He extended his perimeter further and noticed something just a few miles away. There was a cave that had a large population of goblins and deeper underground there were what looked like humans. However, one of those humans in a different area was glowing red indicating that it was an enemy.

That's odd. That one is not like the rest. He reads as an enemy. He's also walking around the area with no fear of the goblins. Guess I'll find out what that's about when I get there. I should head on out if I'm going to do this before tomorrow morning.

He chuckled before shaking his head. This was turning out to be a little different than what he expected to do when he got here. If he knew any better, he was practically doing the same thing as he would in heaven but in a smaller scale. He had expected to come in slaying monsters and being praised for his heroics but instead he was in the middle of an abandoned village trying to save a little girl's parents from the smallest of enemies.

Well, all good adventures or heroes have to start out small right? Would be hard to raise the bar if an RPG started in the middle of killing some mythical creature. Slow steady steps.

With that in mind Kami took in a deep breath before punching his fist against his hand and smiling.

"God the Adventurer is off to save the villagers!" he exclaimed before running off into the sunset.

Update 4

Kami couldn't help but feel excitement as he got closer to the cave. Soon enough he would go in there and take out those goblins and save the villagers. There was the matter that for some reason the goblins had initially kidnapped them instead of killing them, or even more so, why did they attack the village from the beginning.

From my gaming experience, this is probably the work of some person who is using these goblins to do his bidding. Would explain the random ONE person in there who's walking around like he owns the place. Would this be considered a boss fight? Typical RPG scenario, love it.

The sun had finally disappeared from the sky and high above it, was now the moon. It glistened down piercing through the night giving it a form of comfort. Kami finally reached the cave and stood in front of the entrance.

"Now how should I take care of this situation. Simple punching will do but I want to bring out the fancy stuff", he talked to himself out loud.

He snapped his fingers and a sword appeared in his hand. It was a simple iron sword; nothing fancy but good enough to take care of the situation inside.

No need to start of big. Aaah I should really focus on traveling after this. Heroics stuff is a bit exhausting when I have to make it so slow.

Kami didn't particularly find all this boring. Infact, it was all new and exciting to him but even so it was much more work than simply snapping his fingers and having everyone be saved and back in town while at the same time eliminating all the enemies. With that in mind he stepped inside the cave and looked around.

Once he got to a certain point the light of the moon no longer hit the inside of the cave. Instead there were torches lined across the cave that were lighting the way. He admired the amount of work it must have taken someone to actually make a cave like this their hideout. It looked well maintained just for being a cave. As he continued to inspect the cave a couple of Goblins appeared from the corner of one of the paths. Kami came to a stop and looked at them as they simply stared back. The three of them exchange a long moment of silence without moving.

This is... awkward, should I just...kill them?

As this thought crossed his mind one of the Goblins finally reacted. It lifted its club above its head and let out a cry

"Agagaga!!!"

It wildly ran up to Kami as the second one responded to the cry and followed short behind the first one, now also holding its club above its head. Kami raised his sword slightly so the point of the sword would be aimed at the Goblin running up to him.

The goblin had the slowest reaction to this movement, so much so that it continued to run up to him and ran into the point of the sword instantly killing itself. The second Goblin still unaware of the situation continued to run up and collapsed himself against the first goblin further pushing the sword into the first and finally penetrating the second goblin as well, killing it.

Kami stood still, dumbfounded as to how these creatures had just simply ran into his sword. He had a blank expression as he saw two small "EXP +2" signs appear in front of his eyes.

I'm starting to wonder, did the goblins simply just invite the villagers in here? Maybe they lured them in with promises of riches and wealth beyond their dreams. No that's stupid there's no way these could have come up with a plan that advance for them.

He let out a heavy sigh as he lowered his sword and continued to walk further into the cave. It wasn't long before another group of goblins consisting of six came running up to him.

"Heh, it looks like you guys heard the cry from that goblin back there. Alright I'm hoping your numbers will at least cover for your lack of brains"

Kami raised his sword fully as the goblins charged him. The first goblin jumped into the air and tried to swing its club down at him. However, he was much faster and swiftly slashed at the goblin cutting it in half before it even saw the sword swing its direction. Immediately after that Kami ducked as three of the goblins approached him and had tried to hit him with their clubs. He grasped his sword and swung it horizontally on a three-sixty motion instantly slicing up the three goblins. The remaining two managed to freeze in their tracks but remained still as he kicked the ground to close up on them and once again swung his sword to take them both out at the same time.

"Phew that actually made me feel like a real badass" he said looking behind and seeing the goblin corpses.

A larger number appeared in his eyes with the text saying

[EXP+16]

"Ha! Time to keep moving then!"

He turned around and started to run forward. Kami began feeling a rush of energy as he continued to advance into the cave. If he remembered correctly soon he'll be at the center of the cave where the goblins were heavily concentrated as well. Beyond that would be the room where that one guy was.

This is turning out to be a lot more fun than I had intended it to be!

After a few minutes of running he came to a halt. There was a metal door that seemed to be locked blocking his path. He didn't think there would be a form of security here considering that no one probably knew about this place. This wasn't going to stop him either way. He clenched his free hand into a fist and lifted it up towards the door.

"Haaaa!!"

With only a fraction of his strength he punched the door. There was an explosion of dust and rocks as the door flew black into the room and landed on some of the goblins that were guarding the villagers. He instantly ran inside and started wildly swings his sword at the goblins before they realized what was happening. By the time a few of the goblins figured out there was an intruder it was too late. Many of the goblins were already laying on the floor dead.

The villagers stared in awe as Kami stood in front of them holding his sword at the remaining goblins.

"W-who's that?" spoke one of the villagers.

"It must be an adventurer!" replied a female voice.

"W-were saved!" spoke a much older man.

The villagers were locked behind bars that had been custom made from the cave. It would seem the goblins had taken them prisoner after all.

"I'm here to save you fine people of the Itsu Village. Worry not for I Kami come to deliver you from ruin!"

That was my grand line?! I sound like some noble whack job holding a sword. Please if there's a god- wait. Agh I wasn't prepared!!!

Despite his thoughts his faced remained calm and serious as he looked at the goblins. Many of the villagers responded in awes and even began to cheer for him.

They actually liked that?! Whatever I'll take it!

Before he could embarrass himself any further he ran up to the remaining goblins and killed them before they could fully react. This inspired even more awes from the villagers as they began to speak among themselves.

"T-the way he moves. It's so fast!"

"That's an adventurer for you. Nothing they can't handle with these goblins!"

"Blessed be the gods for bringing him to us."

Kami face grew blank as he continued to cut down the goblins one-by-one.

So, they think this is how an adventurer fights. I'm just swinging my sword around at them with no class. If I were to compare it to real adventurer I've played I would call my play-style, barbaric.

In a short amount of time all the goblins had been taken care of and among them stood only Kami. The villagers began cheering at the adventurer who had instantly slayed fifty goblins with just the swings of his sword. Kami looked up at the villagers who continued to praise him and started walking up to them

"Please, it's not necessary just doing my job" Kami said as a smile spread across his face

Ah this praise feels different! Rewarding even, not how the angels do it. This is the praise an adventurer gets!

Suddenly the door leading to the next room swung wide open. Before it was a man with wild black hair that reached all the way down his back almost like a porcupine. He had a strong upper body and his nails looked like they had been sharpened to look like claws He looked around in shock before setting his eyes on Kami.

"You! What did you do?!" he asked

"Me? I just came to save these villagers from the goblins. You are?" Kami replied

"I am Hiromichi Ueno! I am a Beast Tamer! You must have come from the city to put a stop to me! I can understand why. My reputation as a Beast Tamer speaks high of me and some...kid like you couldn't help but come and make a name for yourself by trying to take me down. We'll I'll tell you something! You will pay dearly for-"

Kami stared dumbfound at the man in front of him as he continued to speak. He looked at the villagers and their cheers and praises turned to looks of fear.

Man, this guy talks a lot, I tend to skip a lot of the monologue bad guys do since it's just them talking about how great they are or how their gonna kill you. Not like it matters I instantly know what they have to say and what's with the villagers. He kinda just looks like a guy who has never lived in civilization before.

"H-hey!!! Are you listening?! You better not be taking me lightly I'll let you-"

Maybe I should check on his stats while he finishes off. It looks like he has a lot to say. I wonder if he writes all this down on his free time so he can say later on when he has to face someone.

Kami activated his Skill, [Data] and the list of stats for the man showed up

Cave Dweller?! Ha! I knew it he's practically a beast! Anyway, these are pretty high stats, not closed to mine but, high enough. Wait shouldn't I have leveled up by now?

When he said that a prompt showed up replacing Hiromichi's stats.

[Requirement to level-up met. Would you like to level up now?]

[>Y/N]

Why is that even an option? It actually asks me if I want to level up? There's gotta be a way to set this up to automatic yes.

As he accepted he began to glow and a surge of energy erupted inside. A prompted opened up and read as follows.

[Congratulations you are now LVL 2]

Constitution:500/500 (+250) = 750/750

Charisma: 2 (+1) = 3

Wisdom: 500 (+250) =750

My Charisma stat has to be a joke it can't possibly be that bad. Other than that little hiccup I'm freaking loaded with stats!

"Ah so you leveled up! I see so you'll be more of a challenge now! Well in that case you won't mind if I let out my biggest catch yet!" he exclaimed

Hiromichi let out a loud howl that resonated across the cave. Almost as soon as he was done one of the cave walls broke down and through it a chimera came crashing. It had the face and body of a lion yet its hind legs were more bird like a griffin. Its tale was covered in scales and looked sharped while its front legs seemed more feral than your average lion. Its claws looked like it could cut through anything and its eyes gave a furious stare. It roared menacingly at Kami.

"It took almost every single drop of strength and countless of my beasts to capture this bad boy! Good luck trying to even scratch it!!" Hiromichi screamed out as he began laughing manically

"It can't be, he's the Wild Beast Tamer of the North, w-what is he doing here?" asked one of the villagers fearfully

"Adventurer Kami can still take care of him, r-right?"

"No way that's not possible, we're dead now!"

"T-that's it, it's over, it would take a miracle for him to win now"

Kami activated Data once more to check out what he was dealing with and was instantly surprised.

Wow that's pretty scary looking, looks like if I had not leveled up this guy could actually give me some trouble, however-

Kami aimed his sword behind him and crouched into an attacking position almost like those samurai's he had seen in video games and anime. An aura of energy surrounded him as he yelled out!

"Blade Rush!"

He launched himself towards the Chimera at high speed. His sword became covered in energy as he swung it at the beast. The Chimera managed to react and swung his claws down at him. However, he was much weaker and the impact of Kami's sword broke through his claws before it pierced through the Chimera and cut his head clean off. The lifeless body from the chimera dropped to the floor as everyone stood stunned at how he had with one simple move completely destroyed this monster. A large number appeared infront of his face saying

[EXP+1600]

[Requirement to level up met. Would you like to level up now?]

[>Y/N]

This again, yes of course.

Yet again he began to flow and he felt another flow of energy as his brand-new stats showed themselves.

"Y-you know on second thought why don't you take the villagers and we can call it a draw" A now more humbled Hiromichi spoke.

Ah, what's with this change in attitude? The mighty Wild Beast Tamer turns out to be a pup when he loses his toys. Wait if these villagers know who he is-

"You there, villager, this man, the Wild Beast Tamer of the North, does he have a bounty?"

One of the villagers snapped out of his trance as he stepped responded to Kami.

"Y-yes sir. He has a bounty of five-thousand gold pieces last I remember"

Kami smiled at the Beast Tamer in front of him as he slowly backed off in fear. He approached him cracking his knuckles as Hiromichi fell to the floor with a look of terror on his face. Kami's smile was now borderline menacing as he stood in front of him and said.

"Looks like I'm going to be five-thousand gold coins richer soon"
