शुरुआत में लग सकता है कि ये बस एक डरे-सहमे आदमी की दर्दभरी ज़ुबानी है — लेकिन जैसे-जैसे कहानी आगे बढ़ती है, वैसे-वैसे ये मनोविज्ञान, सम्बंधों की कुंठा, और यहां तक कि मल्टीवर्स की साइंस-फिक्शन दुनिया तक पहुंच जाती है।

विक्रांत - वो आदमी जो सिर्फ बाहर से नहीं, अंदर से भी रोज़-रोज़ पिस रहा है। बचपन में मां से मार खाने की आदत, पत्नी से गालियाँ और थप्पड़, और फिर उस सबका एक नतीजा — सेक्स और अफेयर के ज़रिए खुद को भुलाने की कोशिश।

शिखा - जो एक प्रोफेशनल साइकोलॉजिस्ट है लेकिन धीरे-धीरे खुद ही विक्रांत की बातों में फँस जाती है। एक वक्त ऐसा भी आता है जब पेशा पीछे छूटता है और इंसानियत की परतें खुलने लगती हैं।

विक्रांत के मोनोलॉग्स और डायलॉग्स पढ़ते वक्त ऐसा लगता है जैसे किसी थैरेपी सेशन में बैठे हो। असली, कड़वे और अंदर तक चुभने वाले।

हर ग्रह पर एक जैसी शिखा, और हर एक से विक्रांत का अलग रिश्ता..!! एकदम सस्पेंस वाला फिलिंग देता है।

दिनांक १, दिनांक ९, दिनांक १३ जैसे टुकड़ों में बँटी कहानी इसे मिनी एपीसोडस जैसा बना देती है। पढ़ते-पढ़ते उत्सुकता बनी रहती है।

कुछ जगहों पर लगता है जैसे कहानी के इमोशनल असर से ज़्यादा उसका कामुक पहलू हावी हो गया हो। थोड़ा सूक्ष्म होता तो शायद ज़्यादा गरिमामयी लगता।

शिखा जैसी डॉक्टर इतनी आसानी से गिर जाए? ये थोड़ा नॉन-रियल लगा। हां, इंसान हैं सब, लेकिन प्रोफेशनलिज़्म इतनी जल्दी टूट जाए..!! थोड़ा खटकता है।

कहानी में ट्विस्ट तो है, पर उसके पीछे की जज्बाती गहराई थोड़ी थम सी जाती है। यानी मल्टीवर्स वाला सीन मजेदार है, पर उसका असर ज़्यादा दिल तक नहीं पहुंचता, बस दिमाग को चौंका देता है।

यह कहानी उस रिश्ते का आइना है जिसमें प्यार की जगह उम्मीदें और ज़िम्मेदारियाँ भारी हो जाती हैं। जहाँ मर्द को हमेशा मज़बूत ही दिखना होता है... चाहे वो अंदर से कितना ही टूट चुका हो।

ये कहानी एक साहस भरा प्रयास है... और लेखक की कल्पना-शक्ति वाकई तारीफ़ के लायक है। हाँ, कुछ जगहों पर संतुलन बिगड़ा है लेकिन फिर भी कहानी झकझोरती है। अंत में आप खुद से पूछेंगे.. विक्रांत वाकई पागल था या वो बस अपनी सच्चाई में जी रहा था?​

Man, this story is heavy. Like, the kind of heavy that sits on your chest and makes you need to take a deep breath after reading. Vinci doesn’t hold back... this is raw, uncomfortable, and brutally real. It’s not just about the act itself but about how a man’s mind unravels when grief, desperation, and twisted desire take over.

The story doesn’t rush. It creeps. You see Ravi’s thoughts shift from normal dad stuff to... something way darker. The way Vinci writes his internal struggle (or lack thereof) is chilling. One minute he’s worrying about bills, the next he’s staring at his daughter in a way that makes your skin crawl.

Neha is not some movie heroine who fights back dramatically. She freezes. She dissociates. She tries to rationalize what’s happening because how the hell do you process your own father doing this? It’s heartbreaking because it feels real.

The house feels like a prison. The beeping monitors, the stale air, the way every little sound (a door creaking, water running) becomes ominous. You can feel the tension thickening.

Some parts get really graphic, and while that’s effective, there are moments where cutting back a little might’ve made it even more disturbing. The mind fills in blanks worse than words sometimes.

Ravi’s inner monologue and thoughts get a little too poetic for a guy losing his grip. Lines like "a hunger that had lain dormant for years" sound cool but kinda take you out of the moment. Would’ve been creepier if his justifications were messier, uglier.

This isn’t a story you “like.” It’s one that sticks to you, like a bad dream you can’t shake. It’s well-written, but damn, it’s hard to read. If you’re looking for something dark, psychological, and brutally honest about how messed up people can get? Yeah, this’ll do it. Just... maybe don’t read it before bed.​
