one suggestion..
You should also add a trending section where stories with the highest views, likes will trend. this will help such readers and will also increase the writer's confidence. that their story is trending.. and the writer will also give updates on the story to come in trending.. and there should also be some reward, if it is trending for 1 week then some badge etc. should be given ,
I also know other forums which are English forums related to games etc., they are also made by Xenforo.udher bhi ye trending section hai,

Kar sakte hai but mujhe nahi lagta koi need hai.

1) Sticky threads already hote hi hai jo trending stories ko waha par stick kar dete hai. Ya fir kisi ke paas sticky thread ka reward hai toh woh apna thread lagwa sakta hai waha.

2) Scoop me already trending stories ki ek list aati hai jaha har koi dekh sakta hai kaun si hot picks hai.

3) Filter already diya hai. Highest views ke hisaab se filter lagao aur stories sort hoke aa jayengi.

So... There's actually no need as per me.
